The roll of honour commemorates 96 railways employees from the Chullora Electric Carriage Workshop who served in World War Two.
This roll, now known to be the Chullora Electric Carriage Workshop Honour Roll, was unveiled by the then Commissioner for Railways, Tom Hartigan, c1946 and was eventually fixed to the western Railway Remembrance Wall at Central Station.
