The "Australia Remembers" plaque commemorates employees of the Roads and Traffic Authority who served in World War Two.
"Australia Remembers, 1945-1995" was a program of activities organised by the Federal Government to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the end of World War Two.
Note: The location of the plaque was formerly at the RTA Offices 101 Miller Street North Sydney. The RTA has now merged and is now Roads and Maritime Services which does not have an office in North Sydney. The location of the plaque is unknown by Monument Australia but may be at the Roads and Maritime Service Centre in Chatswood.
