The Memorial Gates were erected in memory of those from the district who died in service or were killed in action during World War Two. The gates form the entrance to the Memorial Park.
Memorial gates, donated by the Koonwarra Country Women's Association, were unveiled at Koonwarra in memory of fallen soldiers. The gates are at the entrance to Memorial Park, land for which was donated by Mr. J. Bacon.
