Glen Waverley Memorial GatesPrint Page
The Memorial Gates at Central Reserve commemorate those who died in service or were killed in action during World War Two.
Having welcomed home the district boys and girls the Glen Waverley Welcome Home Committee has decided to commemorate the district fallen by erecting memorial gates at the Glen Waverley Recreation Reserve. At the request of the committee the Mulgrave Council has agreed that its engineer shall prepare an estimate of the cost of suitable gates. To help raise funds for the project a ball is being held in the Glen Waverley Hall on Cup Eve.
