Australia Remembers 1945-1995Print Page 
The memorial commemorates the 50th anniversary of the end of World War Two and honours those who served at home and abroad during that conflict. The plaque details Australia`s contribution to the conflict.
The memorial is a large single local sandstone rock on which two brass plaques are attached. The rock is set in a small garden with flagpole adjacent.
"Australia Remembers, 1945 - 1995" was a program of activities organised by the Federal Government to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the end of World War Two.
