Camp Coot-tha PlacePrint Page 
The park commemorates the site of Camp Coot-tha which was a military facility used in World War Two. The site was used as a torpedo assembly facility which they called “Camp Coot-tha”. By the end of the war, “Camp Coot-tha” had handled a total of 120,000 tonnes of explosives.
