The wooden honour roll commemorates those who served in World War Two.
At One Tree Hill Institute on Saturday the President of the Gawler R.S.L. sub-branch (Mr. R. G. Poole) unveiled an honour roll of district men who served in World War II. The Mayor of Gawler (Mr. Louis Ey) addressed the packed hall and referred to the public's obligation to returned men. Chairman was Mr. J. Clucas and the speakers were introduced by Mr. F.L. Hould. Songs were rendered by Mrs. Pruul and Mrs. Bammann. Afternoon tea was served
