Cassilis Memorial AvenuePrint Page
The Cassilis Memorial Avenue is a series of ash trees, which have been planted in recent decades to commemorate those who served in World War Two. The trees line both sides of Cassilis Road, from the Golden Highway to the Cassilis War Memorial Park and Memorial Gates.
Each tree is accompanied by a hand-made metal sign. In the centre of each sign is a copper plaque, embossed with the name of a veteran.
