War Memorial PoolPrint Page
The pool commemorates those who served in World War Two.
The usual fortnightly meeting of the Peak Hill municipal council was held in the council chambers on Tuesday. A letter was received from the Peak Hill sub-branch of the RSSILA requesting that a swimming pool be erected as a memorial to the men and women serving in this war. After some discussion, Ald. Parker moved that a letter of thanks be sent to the sub-branch and informing them that it is council's intention to complete baths here at the first opportunity. Seconded by Ald. McKinnon.
