Lest We Forget
Herein are recorded the names of the men of the Second Twentythird Australian Infantry Battalion who were killed in action or died of wounds during the Second World War.
Their graves are to be found in Australian War Cemeteries in North Africa, Palestine, New Guinea, Borneo, or in the several states of the Australian Commonwealth. Some died whilst prisoner of war; a few have no known place of burial.
The memory of these splendid men shall endure forever in the hearts of those for whom they paid the supreme sacrifice.
