Somerville Infant Welfare Centre SitePrint Page
Monument recognises the site of the former infant welfare centre which was built as a memorial to those who served in World War Two.
The plaque on the monument recognises that the land was donated by Mr T W Brunning, and was the site of an infant welfare centre built by community donations in 1954 as a memorial to local servicemen and women who served and died in World War Two. A preschool was later built on the site, and was relocated to the Somerville Primary School in 2013.
