Central Congegational Church Honour RollPrint Page

The photographic honour roll commemorates men associated with the church who died in service or were killed in action during World War One.
A very interesting ceremony was introduced into the service in the Central Congregational Church yesterday morning-the unveiling of photographs of 15 men who had been more or less directly associated the church, and who had been killed in action, or who had died from other causes. There was a large congregation, in the front seats being representation of returned soldiers including Capt. Jos. Francis (president of the Ipswich branch of the R.S.S. I. L.A).
