The honour roll commemorates those who served in World War One.

Acting on the suggestion of Mr. W. J. Horrigan, the institute committee and the Red Cross Circle have collected funds to procure a good honour roll to carry 60 names. Money came in so freely from all sections of the community that there is plenty in hand, so the roll with the names of 35 men who have answered their country's call already, will be placed at the institute and an unveiling ceremony arranged for.
