Wesburn War MemorialPrint Page
The War Memorial commemorates those from the district who served in World War One.
After many months of toil and effort to raise sufficient funds, a fitting memorial to the brave soldiers of the district who gave service and paid the supreme sacrifice in the great war is almost completed at Wesburn. The committee is to be congratulated on its fine work, which shows that, though years have passed since the great world war terminated, the memory of the brave ones who fought and died has never faded, and never will fade from the loved ones left behind to carry on.
Healesville and Yarra Glen Guardian (Vic.), 25 December 1926.
