Avenue of HonourPrint Page
The Avenue of Honour was planted in 1920 to commemorate those who served in World War One.
Bullarook. The members of the M.I.A. and friends gathered together last Saturday afternoon for the purpose of planting an avenue of trees in honor of the boys who enlisted from the district. There was a good attendance and an enjoyable afternoon was spent. After the planting an adjournment was made to the Sunday school hall, where refreshments were handed round by the ladies. A social evening brought a pleasant outing to a close.
Ballarat Star (Vic.), 21 August 1920.
