An avenue of trees commemorates those who served in World War One.
An avenue of 56 trees were planted in 1917 in honour of the district soldiers. The avenue was officially opened by Councillor Laidlaw , President of the Lexton Shire. Trees were also planted for Councillors, Laidlaw, Neal and Quayle in recognition of their assistance.
