Who Gave Their Lives For The Empire, May 3rd 1917.
They Fell As Heroes In The Deadly Strife.
For Their Country They Laid Down Their Lives,
Fame Was Achieved, And They Had Done Their Share,
To Win Those Laurels Rich And Rare,
Which Now Adorn Australia`s Loyal Race,
Not Even Time Its Glory Can Efface.
