Claremont War MemorialPrint Page
The monument commemorates those who have served in the various conflicts in which Australia has been involved.
The design of the monument, which includes three pillars with the badges of the Army, Navy and Airforce, is a tribute to those who trained at Claremont Camp and all Tasmanians who served in World War One many of whom tragically did not return home.
Funding was received through the ANZAC Centenary Grants Program.
