The stained glass window commemorates members of the church who died in service or were killed in action during World War One.
Creswick. In the Town Hall, on Wednesday evening a most successful concert, organised by Miss Broom, was held to raise funds to procure a memorial window for the fallen soldiers and sailors, for St. John’s Church of England. Mr Renouf, secretary of the vestry of the Church of England, thanked all who had assisted in any way. The Rev. D. H. Teale Gosper occupied the chair. At the conclusion of the entertainment the performers were entertained in the council chambers, where the ladies of the church had served a dainty repast, which was much appreciated.
