The honour roll commemorates former students who served in World War One.

Bungaree, Friday. There was a large gathering at the Bungaree State School today, on the occasion of the unveiling of the Honor Board. The Honor Board is a handsome structure of maple executed by Tunbridge and Co. It is in the form of three panels the centre one containing the following inscription:— "In honor of old scholars of the Bungaree School who served the Empire in the Great War.” Over the top is—“The Roll of Honor Bungaree State School 1914- 19.” Each panel left and right ot the centre contains the names of the old scholars who served in the war.
