The hall commemorates those who served in World War One and World War Two. The hall was completely destroyed by fire on the 13th October 1948 and rebuilt and reopened in 1957.

GOONDIWINDI, Oct 14.-The Texas Memorial Hall, worth £2500, with £500 in fittings, was burned down last night. lt was owned by the Inglewood Shire Council and is a severe loss to the district. The fire started, at 2.30 am., the same time as other fires that have occurred in the district.
