Stanthorpe War MemorialPrint Page
The War Memorial commemorates those from the district who have served in the various conflicts in which Australia has been involved.
The curved sandstone wall replaces the original World War Two memorial.
Originally the main ANZAC Day and Remembrance Day Services were held at the Soldiers Memorial on Foxton Hill. Due to the isolated nature and physically difficult climb to reach the site, especially for Veterans, the main services were relocated to this site.
