The honour roll commemorates all South Queenstown men who served in World Wars One and Two. It lists 66 names.
Day of Remembrance was observed at South Queenstown State School by the presentation and unveiling of a Roll of Honor in memory of the late P. J. Devine and all South Queenstown men who served in World Wars One and Two. The presentation was made by Mr. H. Ludbey, on behalf of Mrs. Devine and family, and accepted on behalf of the school by the headmaster (Mr. Rollins). Mr. Frank Devine unveiled the Honor Roll, and the names inscribed were read by Cr. H. G. Faull, who spoke of the work Mr. Devine had done for the town and the school.
